17 Km walk Cronulla to Kurnell

Mary and myself joined 10 members of the Sydney Bush Club at Cronulla station and set out towards Kurnell via Boat Harbour. Mary left us, as planned after an hour.We passed by the morning Surf Life saving boat practice.

At Boat Harbour I was put on a concrete pad and asked to explain the presence of the tall vent stacks that used to vent chemical vapours from the nearby chemical plant at Abbott Labs, where I was once Operations Manager.

Anyway..........it's all gone now.............!

The sandstone strata colours always impress me. We finished at the Visitor centre.
