50th (Covid) anniversary
Our offspring and spouses decided to organise a celebration for nearby family members for our Anniversary, which fell on the correct day of the week -Saturday, this year.
Although new Covid restrictions suddenly came into play, the invitation list was just below the limit of 20 and reduced a bit further when Anna's family could not join us. The number did not have to include Freddy, Alison and family's puppy cavoodle!
They organised a great cake and games and entertainment
I wondered why they wanted a copy of our marriage certificate but understood when we were presented with envelopes with congratulatory letters from our State MP, federal MP (who is also PM-Scomo) , Premier of NSW, Govenor of NSW and Govenor of Australia. Makes you feel very important!
They had also organised a game " how well do we know each other". I didn't do very well but our answers caused a great deal of laughter.
We were blessed with great weather, lovely temperature and no wind. They organised external catering, which was collected on the day.
