A cycle ride---reworked--additional pics and description

Michael  arrived this morning, so while the Mackays went into London with Jacqui, we hired bikes and sauntered along the Grand Union Canal towpath to Bulbourne, where we had lunch and Will discovered a puncture. The 'bike rescue' team came out and fixed it.

Mary managed to slide into the canal at one point, where reeds and nettles had overtaken the canal and Michael fished her out, while Caryl had hysterics at the sight of it all! Couple of plasters fixed her up, except the bruising....the pic is before the fall!

In the evening we all went to the Red Lion pub for a meal--a very old pub in Wendover, serving good meals at a very reasonable price.
