A day in central London
You know when you near the centre of power when you read a celebrity name (Andrew Coulson ) on the sentencing list outside the Old Bailey Criminal Court!
The tip-off came from the Old Bailey QC guide we had for a London Walk we did, on the topic of Crime and Punishment for last 1000 years in Britain. On the same day, Rolf Harris was convicted in Southwark Court, nearby.
We alighted at the Shard,
near London Bridge
passed the Golden Hinde--Drake's ship, the New Globe Theatre
We dropped in at the Tate Modern Gallery for some weird exhibits
and a spot of lunch, in the Tate member cafe, we walked over the Millenium Bridge
and took pics of the Thames from various points as well as enjoying the street entertainment-like this 'headless' man!
