A protest

Some of the people at a protest vigil outside the offices of the Australian  Minister for Immigration, Scott Morrison as part of a national day of protest over the death in an Australian detention centre of a young Iranian asylum seeker this week.
Scott Morrison had already  banned all journalists from any contact whatsoever with  the detention centre area from the time that he took office. Australia has a tiny number of 'boat refugees', all of whom are imprisoned on arrival with no date of release. Some spend many years in this 'limbo' state.

His office is a 5 minute drive from our home.
