Today a small number our Scout Group held a fund-raising barbeque outside REPCO, and in the afternoon our Sutherland Shire Band met the Camden Community Band for a concert at the school--bad weather prevented use of an outside venue.

The very new school hall was built after the GFC --all schools got a new hall and it was the first major capital investment in State schools in this country for over 30 years!

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
