A short walk and my Bromeliads!
This afternoon a friend (Roger) and I went for an hour's walk around Darook Park Point. Unfortunately the tide was wrong--so we ended up...as you can see!
On a brighter note, I have a garden bed full of Bromeliads (courtesy of daughter Alison) and they do not always bloom.
This year all the lot --about 50 of them, have a potentially huge bloom. The colours of red, tinged with lumiescent blue, are spectacular. They don't last long so will update as they develop to full size over next few days. Bromeliads are a very primitive plant. I will try a close-up shot.
