We have a tradition of swimming at Salmon Haul beach just after Christmas and on NY eve we go to manly for lunch. This year we didn't stay for the fireworks but I include some pics of it. We can actually see them from our house but only at a distance of course.

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
