A 'watery' day

Tuesday 8th---it's raining!!  Oh No---where's all the summer weather gone? May be no pics today--it did brighten -in patches and we visited the 'Geffrye' museum near Liverpool Street Station--a splendid collection of period 'parlour rooms' from the 1600's plus nice gardens (and cafe!)

I was stopped and interviewed on the street, on the way there, by a young lady from Finnish Radio, wanting to know what Londoners thought about the oil spill. I replied that it was tragic and just like the damage already done to the ecology of the Niger Delta by the oil companies -- which no-one cares about, but might now receive some attention.

We walked back along the Regent's Canal--not quite the prom at Cronulla but more pleasant than the road!
