Abseiling in Bungonia canyon
The newly formed Rover Crew is proving its worth by organising an abseil expedition for the family camp at Bungonia Gorge this weekend. All ages of scouts participated as well as leaders.I could have refused the offer, but that would have denied daughter Jacqui another opportunity to call me her 'Mad Father'! Alison and Caryl are more respectful--mostly.

There may be some more pics to follow of me descending--when they are sent to me.
The Gorge is also famous for it's spectacular limestone quarry--quite a contrast to the Sydney sandstone --and quite highly coloured too, due to iron oxide inclusions (I'm sure you all knew that!)
