Last night we joined about 40 people on a Cqptain Cook river cruise to celebrate Agnès Marcel's birthday, organised as a surprise by her husband Brice. Their daughter Anaïs was there too, from Cairns.
It was a very jolly, noisy and happy affair and the food and cakes were excellent. Ever the showgirl, Agnès adopted some stylish poses for the camera, as as reversing the balloon 5 to make it 20!

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
