Friday we also visited the Albert Hall, where the 'Prom' concerts are in full swing.
As we were walking around the foyer, who should arrive from their hotel, but members of the Australian Youth Orchestra, for their one-night performance of a piece by Shostakovitch--we greeted them briefly and they said we could come and hear them, if we liked! We actually didn't but it was such a coincidence. They move on to Harrogate Saturday.

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
