An award

Tonight at our Scout Group AGM  the State Commissioner printed me with the following certificate--it was truly  unexpected, especially  the  30 years! I thought it  might be  20 or so.

So it  became quite a  momentous evening, especially as there was an almost unheard of total change of parent committee after many years (but not 30!)

The committee has worked so well for very many years, with occasional changes, that it was almost like a move away from a family home.
