Anna's Bookshop and Café

For years we have patronised this café in Cronulla, with our walking group and other times.

Anna, who keeps a book blog, has a passionate interest in books and authors, has given me very helpful opinions and guidance on a range of book topics. Our ur men's Tuesday small walking group has bought books and often perused the considerable stock of secondhand books there.

The shopfronts there face a lovely memorial park, a reminder of lives lost in battles in Europe and Asia. There are recent pics of the park on this blog--enter Munro park in search field.

The shop has character and a regular clientèle of afficionados.

Sadly, the block of which it is a part has been sold to a developer, of course, and they all have to close next week, so today, after our walk I had a friend take this pic of Anna and myself.

We trust that Anna can find another premises which can retain the character.
