Arrival in Malta
A straightforward 3 hour flight from Heathrow (although a conscious person at the back of the plane, was being medivacced to Malta on a suspended stretcher, with a monitoring nurse- which probably accounted for the slightly delayed boarding).
Views of the rocky beach, complete with signs (directed at the French I think), a medieval tower and stocks and a sign to show the Maltese language (with astonished hippo) . The Maltese word for Street is Triq.
The Maltese must love cats as they feed them and even allocate a public park bench area for them complete with cat sleeping quarters!
Hotel Preluna buffet dinner was absolutely excellent and very popular.
