Arrival in Manila

We left Sydney and travelled without hiccups or delays .

In the duty free section there was a dire warning from Clarins about the dangers of using skin cream!

At Manila Nimoy airport two large people-movers met us and the family greeters and took us to the Manila Hotel.

There were about 17 adults and one of Kris' brothers who owned a 9 seater minibus, bought another new one for our visit (which he can also use in his business) and we began mass transportation to hotels and other sights.

On the second evening there was a knock on Kris and Michael's room door and there stood yet another sister, Camille and daughters,  whom we left in Sydney but who just could not be left out of a major family reunion!

I have never experienced such a close knit family before --more intense than the Italians even! The group included Kris' parents Cris and Angela. and at one lunchtime restaurant it happened to Grandparents' weekend, so we had a pic of the four of us.
