Bilingual School
Our Southern Sydney Francophone Association (FASS) has worked with a local state Primary School to introduce French into the curriculum. Starting with an after-school French Club, it will progress to a full lesson activity by end of year, if enough students wish to take part.
The early signs are good , with children coming from another school as well.
The 'French room' has been decorated suitably and contains a French library, donated by FASS.
Yesterday, the had a 'food lesson' and lots of people prepared French dishes to eat, after the lesson on food. It's very rewarding to be part of local education progression.
