Birthdays

For my birthday we went to see Michael and Kris on the Saturday then daughters and families came round to us on Sunday. Caryl made me an iced mandarin cake-one of her specialities and I had lots of cards and many other welcome presents, including my favourite wine, soaps and creams  plus phone calls and messages--thanks everyone!

The present in the pic below are some CDs from Jacquie and family of the first radio series I ever heard--1955--Francis Durbridge character Paul Temple and his wife Steve - a detective series which became 'The Avengers'. SO exciting and great for using your imagination at that age.  A cousin sent me a 'scratchie' and I won $10.00! My first win ever -out of about three scratchies in my life.
