Blackheath just after Easter

We packed a lot into the 24 or hours we were with John and Penny in Blackheath. Thanks to them for an excellent break!

After collecting them from gateball--well, Penny.........we had lunch then set off for the Hanging Rock walk --a spectacular if somewhat dangerous view!

That evening we went to the French Film club to see the two and half hour epic 'Camille Claudel'--sculpteress and mistress of Ausguste Rodin. This was followed by their usual excellent supper.

Next morning we did the Minnehaha waterfall walk...very spectacular falls...

I took the chance to test my new goretex boots in a stream for several minutes--they passed! Following lunch we visited the Blackheath Food and Wine fair before setting off for home.
