Blackheath - walks and Art Gallery

On a three day visit to Cousin John and wife Penny, we did a walk today (in some mist and at 11 Deg C!)  through Pope's Glen, amongst many wildflowers with views down the Grose Valley and then went to an art gallery, with some amazing pictures and also some stange people--preparing thmselves for the upcoming stage revue celebrating the rhododendron festival!

One of the pictures is of an imaginary traveller with Charles Darwin who discovers exotic creatures that Darwin never saw. The surround of the picture is crowded with amazingly detailed models of these imaginary creatures--a stunning piece of work and worth the $3000 asked for it.
