Breakfast on Bondi Beach

Every year there is a Food Festival on Bondi Beach  and thanks to daughter Caryl had a ticket for the enclosure. Getting dressed at 3.30am (while it rained outside!) I did have second thoughts--and third--and fourth--but caught the first train at 4.30am to Bondi Junctiuon, then a bus, to arrive at the start, in the dark! The small orchestra there was accompanied by a soprano and there were interviews with people, one  of whom is a well English 'foodieL--Bill Grainger--who was leaving for London this same afternoon.

There were many food stalls and the weather improved somewhat as dawn broke.
