Mary remained home with her wrist bandaged after the carpal tunnel surgery this past Thursday, but gave me permission to go!
In contrast to last post, in rain, we walked from the ferry wharf in 33 Deg C heat, to the splendid new platform for the rock carvings. We paused at Shelley Beach and admired the windswept rock platforms and paddled in warm sea.

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
