Bushwalk around Bundeena and rock carvings

Today 10 of us met at Bundeena wharf (some by ferry, some by car) to walk via the Bundeena foreshore, to the aboriginal rock carvings and along the coast for a few Kms.

The carvings are very ancient and eroding --but visible enough. You have to look closeley at the pics. They consist of marine creatures and the largest--possibly a killer whale, we marked out by standing around it with outstretched arms--except Philippe--always the joker!

The carving shows a smaller creature at the mouth--maybe a seal.

On the walk, a spotter 'plane passed us--often seen patrolling the coast-line.
