Last night we attended a French Cabaret night at a local sailing club, in fact we were part of the organising committee. The meal was excellent and the performers included a French singer and cello player, piano accompanist, accordion player and a troupe of 3 dancers--whose costumes were visually stunning. They were also excellent dancers, but the speed of movement made it difficult to capture on camera, so I added some company file pics at the bottom of blog, for clarity!
82nd Birthday - how did that happen?

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
