Casa Philipinne de Acuzar

about three hours west of Manila is a very unusual and huge  coast resort. In this area, a very  big developer (who started work a as welder) has taken many Spanish Colonial  historic houses from around the country and rebuilt them here (just like the open air museum at Singleton in Sussex). There are also Venice like canals and mosaics in bridges and paths and much adornment. You can call up a Jeepney anytime to get a free lift around the site. This is where we saw the folk dances and there was also a very animated re-enactment of the separation from Spain, including full costume and even a very realistic firing squad enactment, so I decided against photographing the event, just in case...but mary got a pic of the actors afterwards-- Queen, monk priest, Spanish  soldier, revolutionary militia and revolution national hero José Ridal.

The original transport was by trams on rails, as in the pic.

There was much very intricate wood carving on ceilings and doors
