A hike starting in rain and wind, to the summit of Cat Bells.
The weather improved and we fell in with an Anglo/Kiwi couple, Craig and Claire, on the same route.
By the time we had started the descent, the weather was really good and it was a great pleasure to enjoy the views and the exercise.
There were wild foxgloves everywhere. Later, there was a great sunset.

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
