Christmas 2024
Caryl and Will generously hosted us all on Christmas day on their patio. The weather was good-not too hot and with a well shaded lawn we played some games after lunch and the pool was popular with grandchildren particularly of course.
There had been a very busy beehive in a large tree a couple of weeks before but it had fallen and been relocated by apiarists -fortunately!
The pics are of the Christmas week- a Monday walk with friends-Monro memorial park sported bright new flowers, we had coffee afterwards. Christmas Carols on St Phil's Lawn (...When the snow lay round about, deep and crisp and even'?!......)
There is the Christmas lunch table and one present I couldn't resist showing on the blog. Several kayaking mates have them, so I'm in the 'in' group now!
Mike, Kris and the boys stayed overnight so we had a nice chance to catch up in more detail. Harry made his fiorst 'wriggling' move forward on the floor on Christmas day!
