Concert at Bundeena RSL

Last night we did an end-of-term concert. For the first time our new 'training band' performed in public, with their conductor Heather--mainly children, with support from some experienced players--they did very well indeed. There were even some solos that the children had prepared for their grade exams. They are the first pics. It's good to see young musical talent being developed.

Then the senior band did two 'brackets'.

The third pic is the senior band, with conductor Pip, with me on extreme left.  The saxophonist standing is a talented young player, doing the solo part of 'Skyfall'

There is  about half the band that you cannot see as they are behind others.
