I went by ferry to Bundeena for a home concert of free form music by a group the 'Monday Club'. An interesting selection of instruments--contra bass clarinet (the tall one) , bass clarinet, French horn, trombone, cello, cornet, saxaphone.........and a solo guitarist born in Mbabane, Swaziland.
The host, Boyd played the contra bass clarinet. His wife, Alison is a sculpturess, as evidenced by many objet's d'art plus this skeleton 'stand' in the kitchen!

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
