Covid 19 update.

Following a total national death toll of 100 people, over the whole Covid period,  today Australia more or less came out of lock-down --with some State borders still closed and differing State rules for social venues and public transport etc. We have emerged in a very sound state of health, thanks to the leadership of the health authorities (the pollies mercifully stayed largely out of it) but with half a million unemployed, not a strong financial state.

New cases.....................

Our financial state has not been improved by our PM choosing to unecessarily  grandstand himself to China over the Covid enquiry, in a Trump-like fashion, causing China to retaliate with a ban imports of our barley and some meat products. Great move Scomo!

Our promenade and beaches and pools at Cronulla are much as they were  before, with people everywhere and not really practicing the social distancing, but no policemen in sight. There soon will be, if there's a new case in the area.

The next couple of weeks will be very interesting as well as very critical . Here's hoping!
