Covid strikes!

My luck ran out following a large dinner in a club on Thursday. By Sunday I felt a bit ‘off’ and on Monday had a cough and sore throat and tested positive by RAT.

cancelled an appointment on Tuesday with a gp for skin check and the receptionist recommended that I make a Telehealth appointment, which was set for 5.00pm. The gp called and wanted me to get the antivirals , so while I kept talking to the gp , Mary rang the pharmacy, due to shut, and by putting the two phones together the gp spoke direct to the pharmacist and set it all up.

It’s now Tuesday night and this sore throat and cough is really painful. Apart from that I have no other symptoms, a little tired perhaps, so I just feel miserable with the pain of swallowing.

The other 13 who also got it (!!) are travelling much the same, I believe.

Very grateful for the four jabs I’ve had so far.

Mary ok at the moment and may have had it as she had same symptoms a short time ago but tested negative, even with PCR test
