Here we stayed with friend from schooldays and scouts, Clifford and sister Rilla joined us As you can see, Cliff has taken up forging, specialising in kitchen knives and Samurai swords!! Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
