Croxley Green

A visit overnight to Rilla and Shirlaw. Rilla has published a booklet of songs for children as well as  Christmas 'Camels', in addition to her existing works of Love Came down and a train song based on environmentalism- all featured on a 'page' on this blog.

Shirlaw took us on a walk through the woods past the Grand Union Canal to Cassiobury Park--a childhood memory of mine, very near Bushey, where I was born (not in a forest!)

The M25 lived up to it's reputation so we returned via the country route. SO much more pleasant and not longer.
