Near us here is a technical college--known as TAFE , where they train people for restaurant and hospitality work.
Every few months a group of us have the chance to book a lunch there where the students are practicing on us!
Today , the senior chefs, who were leaving as we arrived, said we were in 'for a treat ' today. It was!

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
