Empress Canyon and waterfalls-Blue Mountains

Today we went, in the rain, to the Blue Mountains and after plying with coffee and gentle persuasion, Emma and Bella agreed to visit the depths of Empress Canyon. A much more meaningful Blue Mountains experience than sight-seeing the famed 'Three Sisters'

They were very brave!

The canyon is certainly worth visiting and there were canyonners abseiling down the waterfalls into icy water (wearing wet-suits) .

There were also rock shelves, typical of the geology of the area
