Yesterday I was invited to join a few leaders and scouts , one of whom (Ronan) is completing his scout Medallion, doing his social service component of the award.
He had collected 50 blankets, to be handed to homeless people via the Sydney Exodus Foundation in Ashfield.

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
