French Cabaret Extravaganza!

We booked tickets for this show at the 'Notes Live' theatre, Newtown and enjoyed a lively evening of French entertainment including dancers, the Sydney French Choir, La Bande Original and of course the 'Can Can'!! A bit noisy at times but very colourful and some truly acrobatic dance routines.

It made up for our daughter Jacqui banning me from going to the Moulin Rouge in Paris!!

The French choir is 60 members strong and very versatile. The Rock band 'La Bande Originale' is much more musical than I expected it to be and the dancers were amazing--as were the costumes!!

Art Exhibition

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
