French fest

The bilingual primary French school, which Mary and myself had a hand in initiating , is going well after three years and held a 'French Fest' last night . It included French bands and singers ( a bit loud!) and had a small market selling food (of course!) and drinks as well as other bric-brac --some for the school student. There were also jumping castles etc

The event was in the large, tree-canopied grounds and was very well attended, including the French ambassador to Australia , the French cultural attaché (pictured) and a local, linked, high school principal who speaks fluent French too.
