French Market 2024 May 19

A beautiful day, fortunately  sandwiched between two poor ones. It always takes place and is organised by the primary school on their large grounds. The school has been bilingual for 3 to 4 years now  and is growing well.

A very high attendance again (in the thousands) and food stalls again selling out . We managed to actually get a raclette this year and coffees in spite of massive queues.

I was there all day with our FASS stall where we sold over $300 worth of books, a record and took many enquiries for membership.

The vintage French cars were there as well as baguettes (naturellement) - you can see them poking up from the bag of friend Pauline. I think she  got the last two. Many tasty cakes, pastries and créme brulès for sale. French music and singing , French lady selling her tours of France  ad a dog beauty contest! Almost  like a day in Provence!
