French market--TPPS
We were blessed with fine weather so had our usual big turn out --5000 people or so.
Every stall had either a genuine French territory stallholder or products . Very happy atmosphere--just like a real French market. The grounds of Taren Point Public School were packed with stalls for food, wine, cheese, linen, coffee, craft, meccano (French invention) etc etc. This is one of only three bilingual French schools in NSW.
The first pic is of myself with the French Consul General, Madame Boillon, who visited, plus Francoise-one of three French mothers who asked Mary and myself to help form a French association and playgroup about 12 years ago--how it's all grown!
