The front garden bed has really blossomed -in a riotous sort of way-with all the damp weather this year .
Many blooms and colours all bunched together round the two ponds. There are some magnificent hollyhocks to show later and a deep red gladiola. My Californian poppies have all succeeded, as have the dianthus and aquilegia and most satisfying, sweet peas in the front garden.

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
