Hips and travel

Hips and travel

For those who don't know, Mary had a hip replacement a couple of weeks ago. Here is a pic of her back home after two nights in hospital,  eating her hospital lunchtime quiche that she didn't want to abandon there!

Surgeon said it took 70 minutes and he used a lot of glue, so should hold OK.

There are frequent physio visits here at home and exercise regimes. Still needing some panadol but no hard analgesics and is using a crutch or one of her walking poles. Slowly getting strength and stability back .

We are also thinking about travel to UK next year,  for the second half  of July. This will follow a Viking cruise we've booked from Istanbul to Venice, neither of which city we've been to before. Arriving Venice July 14th I think.

We would like to know if you will be visitable or are able to meet somewhere,  in this timeframe?

There will be emails and Christmas letters as well with mention of it but feel free to send any comments as soon as you wish.

Look forward to catching up.
