In the gym!
At Loftus TAFE College they teach students to become fitness instructors. Towards the end of their course, they need customer 'guinea pigs' to practice on--and that's where I and several other unsuspecting innocents came into it. I was assigned to Evan, a young fit bloke, who started by taking some overall measurements of my body size, fitness and history and after some further 'postural studies' I was pronounced fit to start the gym course. I did, of course, ask my doctor's advice as well, but all he could say was 'You look pretty fit to me--but I can't tell you if it suitable or not--it's up to you!
A few weeks into it, Evan said he wanted me to feel sore by the end of the hour--he achieved his goal.
At a later session, mid-May, I had my picture taken with the person who got me into all of this--Françoise!
Below that are the pics of me pulling up on the bar--taken at 6 second intervals-6,12,18 seconds--then Evan told me he was just hoping for 10-15secs--he tricked me AGAIN!!!
By the end of ten weeks, there were improvements in muscle mass, decrease in fat levels, increase in biceps and thigh diameters as well as recorded increses in strength--all in all a good result!
