As you can see, the cottage does have normal internet!

A 3.30am start should have been plenty o time, but Luton airport is a disaster--all parking being reconfigured and the trip to car hire parking and back by shuttle took forever, leaving us dangerously close to the gate closure--not to mention the huge crowds at the airport.

An hour or so of flying saw us in the coolth of Inverness and a three hour, picturesque, drive in a hired Citroen Picasso,to Carbost-the home of the only (Legal?) distillery on Skye--wonder who chose our cottage location?

The cottage is painfully neat, but spartan,  with warning signs everywhere. It's as if they want you to rent it but not actually live in it! Pics of scenery to follow--I'm too exhausted and hungry...............
