Following a kayak trip with friend Rob Godfrey--visiting from Bristol, we arrived back at Yowie bay boat ramp in time to see Yowie Bay Year 6 students doing their traditional jump in to the river--fully clothed in school uniform, to celebrate finish of Primary School. At least it washed of the shave cream they were covered in!

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
