Knighting Norman

We also visited the NT property 'Cothele' just inside Cornwall, where I had the honour of 'knighting' our friend Norman with a medieval battle sword --the attendant had a few OH&S worries about it all!

Friend Norman also decide to do the half kilometre 'flying fox' trip near to Cothele House. I thought he had reduced a pic for me of him on the  flying fox but cannot find it. (I have now found it--but he looks so small you'd never pick him out on the wire!)

We did a splendid walk along the coast this morning from Bolt Tail to Soar Mill Cove then I went to a podiatrist to see what could could be done with my aching foot. This part of Devon is so so picturesque --probably less so in winter--but just magnificent now-- with the long light evenings to 10.00pm or more.
