In bright sunny weather we set off from Kurnell -Solander Point (birthplace of modern Australia) and walked the coastal path to Cronulla, som 10 Kms, with Agnés and thier visitor from Vercors, Océane, who is here for a couple of months in the French school holidays.
A lot of the tracks were flooded but we found detours.
We passed Boat Harbour--I had forgotten how picturesque it is.

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
