Lady Carrington Drive-walk
Today we went on a bushwalk with the French Group along Lady Carrington Drive in the RN Park, in perfect weather. Some families included 3 generations, aged from 5 years to 'mature', as it is the right climate for Europeans to visit Australia. The pics do not show everyone on the walk--the kids were miles ahead.
Along the way we met two very pleasant young Iraqi people (Atheena and Juamana) who were looking looking for a separate track to the Paloma cave. They were very interesting to talk to and told me that they belonged to the Mendaen Church --a very small Middle-Eastern sect which has a very long history and places great imprtance on John the Baptist. In spite of the T shirt, Atheena had never been to London and does not box!
