Leaving Lyon and arriving Bretagne--Arzon
Sorry for lack of commentary and poor picture separation--a combination of lack of time and still struggling with adding pictures properly--they won't go where I want them!
The TGV train journey was excellent and made me aware once more of how pathetic our rail system in Oz is. Even the ensuing non-TGV part was good. It's true that the SNCF people strike a lot, but if I had the choice between our current Oz system and the strikes--I'd put up with the strikes!
Christiane met us at Vannes and drove us to her home in Arzon-- an extremely attractive 14th century town, recently cleaned, with many monuments going back to the time when England and France had the same language and King--Henry IV.
Pics to follow this.
The French anti-smoking poster below is practice for those doing beginner French. I thought it looked attactive, too!
