Lion Kings?
Friday night Michael joined us at Jacqui and Tom's (Mr and Mrs. Housden )for a very nice meal.
By convenient coincidence, only a 20 minute walk separates Jacqui and Tom from my cousin Keith and his Australian wife, Petrea, in Forest Hill, so I visited them first thing on Saturday, where I learned where to find loads of music online, non-copyrighted.
Jacqui, Tom, Michael and ourselves had lunch at a Mexican restaurant near Covent Garden
--Wahaco- with interesting decor and we then looked in some fancy shops (including an Australian import) on the way to the
Lyceum Theatre to see a matinee performance of 'The
Lion King', which we very much enjoyed. Digital images inside theatres never turn out very well.
Every twist and turn in central London presents some new item of interest--far too many to add here. We also came across two troops of visiting scouts.
One place of interest is the longest running (1885) weekly magazine--'The Lady', the office being situated on 'Maiden Lane'--how apt!
